The smartphones that come under budget bracket is on heat! Tecno Camon 11 has just started teasing competitor Huawei Y9 as they resemble a lot.

The market isn’t about innovations anymore, it’s more like, “if you can do it, I can do it too!”, hence it’s expected that Tecno has chosen to slap a notch on their recent product launched, Tecno Camon 11.

The smartphone is already released in India with the name of Tecno iClick 2 which features 6.2-inch HD display, Android 8.1 Oreo, 3750mAh battery, Dual 13MP + 5MP camera on the back, 16MP selfie camera, MediaTek Helio A22 processor, and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage.

The smartphone might come with better features and specifications in Pro version, for example, a better processor like Helio P22, more room for storage option and better camera for clicking selfies.

Tecno Camon 11 is likely to have features inbuilt with the camera like beauty mode, superpixel mode, panorama, and even a bokeh mode with the help of the secondary lens.

TECNO Camon 11 is the latest iteration in the TECNO Camon series and a direct successor to the Techno Camon X that was released about 8 months ago. This Series has always been a hit in the mobile market, they are recognized for their captivating camera-centric feature which is not the only applauded feature of the series they also come with trending and great alluring specification.

This tecno mobile new TECNO Camon 11 comes with minor improvements over its predecessor packing a slightly bigger display, all new and trendy 19:9 aspect with a notch up top to house the camera and other Senors. Although, the Camon C11 shares a lot of similarities with it senior sibling, the Camon C11 Pro, it also comes with a number of improvements compare to its predecessor.

Tecno Camon 11 features a poly-carbonate uni-body insulated with diamond fire material,  with the antenna band over the top and rounded corners with no bezel around the screen. This smartphone is designed to modern standards, with a Slim, sleek body which accommodates a 6.2 inches screen coupled with an HD+ display resolution, the screen has a 2.5D curve at the edges which does not only ensure that users enjoy better visual effects from the screen but also safeguards it from cracks and delivers smoother touching with a resolution of 720 by 1520 pixels resulting to 268 pixels per-square-inch.

It also comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio and an 87.5% screen to body ratio which  means the display is no longer with bezels which allows splitting of the screen to perform multiple task at once.

The TECNO Camon series have been known for their exceptionally good camera and the Camon 11 is no letdownAs a camera-centric device a better upgrade is expected for the newest member compared to its predecessors.

The Camon 11 has a bit more to offer with its front facing camera than the rear camera just like the Camon X, which typically makes it a nice choice for selfie lovers. It features a robust 16 MP front selfie camera featuring the LED selfie flash lightening, you can do more better than other competitive phones out there with f/2.2 aperture. The dual front flash can be adjusted by gesture in terms of brightness to best suit your style .The selfie camera also comes with Bokeh effect mode that allows the phone camera to focus on your face than the background, blurring it out.

The camera is empowered by the AI-powered 4-in-1 technology which are AI HDR, AI Beautification, AI Bokeh and AI selfie while at the back seated a dual camera setup which comprises of a 16 MP + 2 MP which is Portrait mode enabled with a Quad-LED flash.

Camon 11 is powered by a Mediatek Helio A22 SoC, although not the mediatek mt6761 with the predecessor. The MediaTek MT6762 is designed for mid-range devices with a processing speed which clocked at 2.0Ghz and it runs on quad-core processor which enhances a smooth performance compare to the octa-core processor spotted in the Camon 11 pro. The major strength of this new chip-set in its low-photography with AI-capability. The Camon 11 also runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with the company’s HiOS skin version 3.3 on top.

Camon 11 Pro comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a Micro SD-card if more storage space is required by the user. Although, there is also a 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM version at a cheaper price on Kara Nigeria.

The Tecno Camon 11 battery capacity is 3750 mAh Li-Polymer which should be enough to get you through a day The device also supports MediaTek’s fast charging technology, the Media-Tek Pump Express, so charging the device shouldn’t take long.

Meaning that the device will offer more screen time with less charge time. A two hours charge should be able to get you to a full battery from 0%. There is also 4G LTE on board for fast internet connection. Other features of this device include WiFi, WiFi hot-spot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth v4.2, Fingerprint Sensor, Face-ID, a Micro USB port and support for USB On The Go.
