This also lead to discomfort while sleeping and it also lead to sleeping and waking at night.

2. It causes neck pain:

Sleeping on your stomach causes neck pain because your head will be fixed in one direction(either left or right) in order to be able to breathe. The fixed position of your head will cause a serious pain on your neck when you wake up and even while sleeping.

It can also lead to a neck disorder called herniated disk. This issue appears when the spinal vertebrae shift enough to cause a rupture of the gelatinous disk inside, causing the gel to leak out and irritate the nerves. This issue or disorder can only be treated by experts. This is why you need to read this article if you have slept on your stomach this year.

3. It’s not good for mothers to be:

Sleeping on your stomach is not good for mothers to be because if you keep sleeping on your stomach, it will get used to you which maybe very difficult to change from that sleeping position when you conceive.

Sleeping on your stomach is harmful for pregnant women because if you sleep on your stomach, you are likely to have back pains of which pregnant women do not need at all.
